MEET TODAY’S GUEST
Abby Barrett
Abby launched I Do Collective at the beginning of 2026 after years of working in corporate events and marketing, plus helping friends plan their weddings on the side. What started as a passion project quickly became her full-time mission: creating wedding experiences that feel joyful instead of stressful.

“I didn’t want weddings to feel like something to survive. I wanted them to feel like something to fully experience and enjoy.”
THE INTERVIEW
The Vision Behind I Do Collective
Abby saw too many friends finish their weddings feeling exhausted and relieved it was over. She wanted to build something different — a planning experience that lets couples actually enjoy the process and be fully present on their big day.
“I didn’t want weddings to feel like something to survive,” Abby shared. “I wanted them to feel like something to fully experience and enjoy.”

Most Popular Services
Day-of coordination is currently the most requested service. Even highly organized couples reach a point where they need someone else managing timelines, vendors, and setup so they can focus on celebrating.
Abby is also seeing growing demand for partial planning and design-focused packages, especially from couples who want a beautiful, cohesive look while staying involved in the early stages.
Bachelorette Party Planning
Abby now offers full bachelorette party planning services to help brides create fun, memorable, and stress-free celebrations with their closest friends. From theme ideas and itinerary planning to booking venues, activities, and accommodations, she handles the details so the bride can simply relax and enjoy this special time.

Launching I Do Travel
This year, Abby expanded her business with I Do Travel — a natural extension that helps couples plan honeymoons, destination weddings, and group trips. The best part? Her travel planning services come at no additional cost to clients, as she’s compensated through hotel and vendor partnerships.

What Sets I Do Collective Apart
Abby’s approach goes far beyond checklists. She acts as a guide, sounding board, and trusted partner throughout the entire journey. Clients receive a personalized planning portal to keep everything organized and stress-free.
Whether it’s proposal planning, engagement parties, bridal showers, or the full wedding, Abby focuses on creating intentional, elevated experiences that truly reflect each couple.
Favorite Part of the Job
For Abby, nothing beats the moment on the wedding day when everything comes together and the couple is fully present, happy, and in love.
“I always get emotional during the first dance,” she said. “It never gets old. Knowing I played even a small role in helping create that moment is incredibly rewarding.”

Special Offer for Cranberry Readers
For 2026, Abby is offering $200 off any planning package for Cranberry Buzz readers. Just use the code CRANBERRY when booking (valid through October 2026).
