MEET TODAY’S GUEST
Danika & Mike + The Whole Crew
D Soda Company was born from a simple idea that quickly turned into a family adventure. After Mike mentioned the concept of “dirty sodas,” Danika was skeptical at first. But one taste changed everything.
Together with their five kids, they’ve built a mobile business that brings creative, non-alcoholic drinks to events across the Pittsburgh region — including right here in Cranberry Township.

“We are family-oriented and huge small business supporters! If you have a small business in Cranberry, we’d love to partner with you!”
THE INTERVIEW
What Are Dirty Sodas?
Dirty sodas are classic sodas (or “pop,” as we call it in Pittsburgh) mixed with flavored syrups and creams to create fun, colorful, and refreshing drinks. Think creamy, sweet, and sometimes topped with giant cotton candy or fun garnishes.
At D Soda Company, every drink is made to order and has been thoroughly taste-tested by their toughest critics — their own five kids.
“If the kids approve it, it makes the menu,” Danika laughs.

Most Popular Drinks
Some of their biggest crowd-pleasers right now are Shark Attack and Cotton Candy. Seasonal flavors also fly off the counter — especially in the fall with favorites like Caramel Apple and Pumpkin Pie.
They also offer sugar-free options and are actively expanding their menu in 2026.
What Sets Them Apart
Beyond the creative flavors, D Soda Company stands out because it’s a true family business. Danika and Mike intentionally built the company so it could create not just income, but quality family time and future opportunities for their kids.
“We love the family unity it brings us,” Danika shared. “Getting to include our whole family is such a blessing.”

Serving the Cranberry Area
While based in Venetia, D Soda Company travels throughout Washington and Allegheny counties. They’ve already been booked for the Cranberry Summer Nights Community Event in July and are hoping to do many more pop-ups in the Cranberry, Wexford, and Mars areas throughout 2026.
If you follow them on social media, you’ll always know exactly where they’ll be popping up next. More on that below!
Favorite Moments
Danika says one of the best parts is watching people’s faces light up on their first sip. “There’s also a fun, family-friendly element,” she added. “Seeing faces light up when they’re served a soda with a giant cotton candy on top is always priceless.”

Looking Ahead
Danika wants locals to know: “We are family-oriented and huge small business supporters! If you have a small business in Cranberry, we’d love to partner with you.”
Their fun tagline says it all:
“Fizz Around and Find Out!”
A Message to the Community
This year, the family has big plans. They’re packing their schedule with events, working toward getting a trailer, and even launching merchandise.
They’re also open to partnering with other small businesses in the Cranberry area for pop-ups and collaborations.
